1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using U-In (u-in.net), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

U-In is a golf event management and live scoring platform that allows golf groups to organize events, track scores in real time, and view leaderboards. Event invitations and scoring links are delivered via SMS.

3. SMS Messaging Program

Program name: U-In Golf Event Notifications, operated by Scott Jones (Sole Proprietor).

Program description: U-In sends transactional SMS messages related to golf events you have registered for. Messages include: (a) event invitations and reminders, (b) scoring links delivered when your round begins, and (c) event-related notifications such as RSVP confirmations and result summaries. No marketing, promotional, or advertising content is sent under this program.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies. You will typically receive 2–3 messages per golf event you participate in (one invitation and one scoring link). Overall frequency depends on how many events you join.

Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier's standard rates apply to all messages sent and received. U-In does not charge for SMS messages.

How to opt out: You may cancel your SMS subscription at any time by replying with any of the following keywords to any U-In message: STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. After sending one of these keywords, you will receive a confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

How to get help: Reply HELP to any U-In message for assistance, or contact our support team at micscottj@hotmail.com.

Carriers: Carriers (including T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit false or misleading information.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access.
• Interfere with the operation of the service.

5. Accuracy of Scores

Players are responsible for accurately entering their own scores. U-In is not responsible for errors in score entry or handicap calculations resulting from inaccurate data provided by users or third-party services (including USGA GHIN).

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and software comprising U-In is owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

U-In is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, U-In shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
